1984,Born in Nagoya,Aichi. Finished masterʼs degree in Design and Architecture from Nagoya City University in 2009. After working as a designer at a newspaper company, started working as a freelancer in 2023.
While enrolled in university, made drawings with charcoal, pastel etc. And then mainly make painting works with trying various art materials. Also making artwork for musicians, store murals, and graphic design. With wife, author Saori Okuda, share a workshop called "RIM", where for exhibitions and events as independently plan.
About personal works
Experiment of expression with to separate space. Searching the image that are perceived depth and time by paint the motif with separating for making gap. The motif are chosen by interest and change in life.In recent years, working on still life paintings with collected antiques as motifs.

Saori earned a Masterʼs degree in Scenography, Display and Fashion Design from Tokyo’s Mushashino Art University. While working as an antique dealer in Tokyo, she first began experimenting with plant-based, natural dyes to design clothes and accessories.
In 2014, she returned to her hometown of Nagoya to further explore clothing production as an apparel artist.
Since then, Saori has presented her work in solo exhibitions in various locations around Japan and has been involved in the production of children's clothing, costumes for artists, and original uniforms for retail stores and restaurants.
In 2024, she held a solo exhibition as the first tissue case artist in Japan and showcased her own original tissue box cover designs. She is currently exploring the possibilities of creating new tissue cases using antiques, vintage collectibles, and ceramic parts.
She presents her own work and manages exhibitions for selected artists at her own gallery in Nagoya, RIM.
